Alright DDM, time for my monthly check in on the 2013+ short shifter. Any updates?

Did you happen to check to see if you have the 2012 transmission in your 2013 like I do? I have it installed and am loving it(not trying to rub your nose in it....).

How would you tell the difference?

Older style has a cap covering the lever nut. Newer style has an exposed acorn nut. Easy to tell them apart at a glance.

But that's only for 2012 or earlier. 2013+ models have a different lever

I have the mtech like it but was pretty expensive.

I know member posted a while back that the zzp cable clamp does not work with the mtech shifter. Has anyone tried it with the ddm shifter?

It won't fit your car. It only fits the earlier Sonic, we're waiting for DDM to make a short shifter for the later model.
