I have a borla exhaust and was gonna order the test pipe. If i install it before a tune will it throw a cel? I plan on doing a tune i just want to get everything so i can do the tune 1 time

No, there are no O2 sensor in front or behind it. It is just a straight piece of pipe with a cat, nothing else. The ECM will know no difference or adjust any fueling.

Thaaat is coorrect (removes shirt)

Although there are 2 O2 sensors in front of it but that's irrelevant and I know that you know that we all know there are O2 sensors well ahead of it

I'm not sure which bolt it was, maybe the v-band clamp? It was just a shot at Eric.Smit.

It's not just a shot at Eric. There is actually a bolt that is hard to access. He needed a deep socket and an extension to get to it, it is between the motor and the cat. Maybe Eric will comment more on location as it was discussed in the saloon so it will be hard to track down.

It's in the middle of the downpipe. If you take the heat shield off, it's down to the left of the turbo.

What size deep socket did you use?

it's the same as the other bolts, I wanna say 10, but the extension is what he meant. I needed a 6" extension that I didn't have.

Its a 10 or maybe 13mm bolt (I think its 10). I had really good luck with a wratcheting wrench

Is that a 12 point that holds the heat shield together?

I believe so but you can use a 6pt as long as its not super tight. if I have to use a socket that's what I use (I have few 12pt sockets).
