DDMworks 1.4L Coil Cover

When we bought our little tester the plastic engine cover we knew was something that was going to have to go, so we made up a quick little cover to replace it.

Here is what we started with, using CAD data for the valve cover allows us to get a really good fitment of the piece we are designing:

The after cutting the first piece and doing a little powdercoating and some new stainless hardware, we came out with this:

Its a nice simple piece to replace the plastic and we are going to be making some in stainless steel and also red and black. Once we get some pricing back on them, I will let everyone know.

We will be making them from stainless steel with all stainless hardware, and have red and black also. Custom powdercoat colors will be available also, like if someone would want Kawasaki green powdercoat, we have a bunch here

i so want this! another idea is for those still running the stock intake box to do a replacement for the flex hose from turbo to intake box, if one doesnt come out ill probably design one.

We are having a bunch of them laser cut and CNC bent and they will be done in Stainless steel, Black and Red with all stainless hardware. With the quantity we are doing we were able to get the price down to $45 :banana:

We will also be able to do custom powdercoat colors on them also (Kawasakit green, red starlight, etc.), not sure how much it will be for the custom colors, but probably $10-15 additional.

It's hard to justify spending a grip on parts that don't increase performance.
But for $45...... I can't justify NOT shelling out for such an upgrade in appearance.

That's not to expensive! To expensive is a personal thing and for me I was leaning towards anything over 60-70 bucks would have passed my threshold of cost for this part. But, great deal and I will probably jump on a silver one if you do a pre-order/group buy on them.

Will they match the curve of the surface they sit on, or will they be flat and lifted at the sides like the one pictured?
