DDMworks Brake Rotors

We have been doing brakes for years now and have made our own brake rotors for the Sonic using the best quality castings we can start with. Then they are CNC machined to our specifications including multiple patterns - slotted, cross-drilled, cross-drilled/slotted and the new hook slot design. To finish off the pieces they are then Zinc coated and polished to give a long lasting shine to the rotors that resists corrosion. are you making anything for the rear drum brakes, like a conversion to discs??

We are looking into the rear discs, but feel that once the RS comes out a rear disc conversion will be pretty easy as the parts will be available from GM to do it. Honestly, in the testing we did, the car is so heavily biased to the front that we had no fade issues with the back. This is especially true on a stock suspension car with the softer suspension the car comes with. I believe that the rear conversion to discs will really only be for looks or for heavily tracked cars, but we will see soon!

No problem

As for the wheels, the bolt pattern of the car is 5x105 which is to say the least, very uncommon. Tirerack has some choices over there, and if you want to pay for shipping there are some other options available from Europe since the bolt pattern is on the Opel Astra and some others in europe.

They are EBC Greens that we are testing right now on the car. With the mods to the braking the pedal feel is better and the car will take a lot more before there is any fade at all compared to the stock setup, which faded relatively quickly.
