DDMWorks Sedan Exhaust

DDM, I know that you said that you would be producing a sedan exhaust. I was wondering if there was any progress on this. The last thing I heard from your company was that you had someone coming in so that could fit the exhaust. If things are moving forward with the exhaust do you have any info on it? Will it still be 2 1/4" and what type of tail pipe are you planning on using? There really isn't any options at all for the sedan and think that the sedan owners would really appreciate an option other than a custom cat back. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Just so you know, the people from DDMWorks have decamped to Asheville, NC, for the North American Solstice Sky Meet. As a consequence they have closed shop thru Sunday.

Thanks for the heads up. I had Ivy tell me she would have Dave email me about a week ago and I haven't heard anything back from them. I figured there was a HB DDM exhaust thread and maybe with a Sedan thread they might see the demand to make this happen sooner than later. I am leaning towards the SLP HB exhaust and make it work but I would rather have a purpose built exhaust. Hopefully the have two options for the tailpipe, I really like the hidden look of the factory exhaust but know people will want something that sticks out the back as well.

I too want to know what the hold up is with all these companys and not making items for the Sedan Models too! I have a Sonic Sedan and have been wanting to get an exhaust system for my Sonic but cant for the life of me find anyone that makes a setup for the Sedans. Everythings for the damn Hatchback! Not everyone likes hatchbacks people. PLEASE DDM Works get an exhaust setup made for the Sedans Too.

The last I heard DDMWorks still needed a four door Sonic for fitting.

I know they are in Asheville, NC, thru Sunday installing coilovers and doing dyno tunes, so their office should be manned starting Monday.

Yeah, hopefully when DDM gets back to work from all their running around and holiday time off we will get some news from them. I haven't gotten a reply back from them since 6/11.

Zero. I am about to buy the SLP and just toss out the double walled tip and put a 2 1/2" turned down tip in it's place, should be just like the factory exhaust tip (I love the hidden look of it). DDM is the closest that is advertising that they are working on one and one of the members on the forum was supposed to go in and get it fitted and I have heard nothing about it since and if I remember correctly it was back in May that this was happening. I do not think that DDM will go up to 2 1/2" pipe unless they start making it an option for the HB exhaust as well.

I dont know why they can slap out an exhaust for the hatchback right away. but its oh so a pain in the you know what to make an exhaust for us Sedan Owners! Seriously DDM, How about spreading the love to everyone that owns a sedan sonic and not play favortism to the hatchback owners!! Im bored as all hell with the stock exhaust. I want some growl to my sonic.

Which is why come tax return time next year. im taking that money i get and building me my own custom exhaust system thru the local body shop. they already agreed to do a setup for me for pretty low cost. Im personally tired of waiting. I cant believe there is no one out there with a sedan sonic that can stop in to their shop and have an exhaust fitted. I love the sound of that exhaust on the hatch. PLEASE HURRY UP! Please...
