So, the other day I was attempting to shut my windows after I parked my car. I put it into AC mode, but when I tried to close my drivers window the DOORS UNLOCKED!!! When I started the car, they worked normally. Then, the other day I attempted to adjusr my sideview mirrors. NEITHER ONE WORKS!!

I have had issues with the windows before. I had left them all open an inch, and the sunroof popped up to keep the car from boiling inside. Well, I started the A/C and tried to close the windows. They would not close. I got home, and shut the car. They would not close. It was panic time, because it was supposed to rain. I was going to get something to tape to the windws but tried one more time, and they closed.

What is up with our cars and the electricals? Is this a "normal" idiosyncrasy?

No. My windows came back but not the mirrors. And, when the windows were not working, there was a sound coming from the fdrivers door as if it was trying to work. I have to hit the road for work. Will check back later....

BCM'S? Aren't those installed by the stealerships?

either a disconnect of the battery for a few minutes to "reset" it or there's some mechanical linkage which may have broken....

might look into pulling that window switch/power mirror part...that could be defective.
