My son just bought this used last week and i washed the engine and the next day it coded P0300, P0303. I hardly know this car so i want to figure out if the coil pack is bad. There was water where the pack mounts. I had a fan on the engine overnight then i pulled the pack out and looks perfect accept one coil had dew around the coil. I think it was the third cylinder from the right so I’m guessing that’s the specific misfire.
I want to do the screwdriver quick test to see if i fried the coil pack (possibly just happen to fail). I have a test meter too but not sure what resistance I’m looking for. I don’t like just throwing parts at a car just because it may be due for replacement. Tia
