fogged up windows

so I saw a post on here quite sometime ago and have not seen it again. searched to no avail. but basically it said something about a tsb from the dealer that will fix your fogging up window issue. I took my 2013 sonic rs in for this problem. they could not find any water intrusion to the interior but did do the tsb and I picked up the car and am not having to run my defrost most of the time. I live in Washington state. it rains here now and then. LOL Basically they are adding a strip of rubber to some kind of rail in the heat and cooling system that redirects the water that may come in thru your intake vents for your heater and ac. just got it back and so far so good.
If your having fogging up issues reference a tsb to the dealer when you take it in. even out of warranty this may be an issue they have to fix as its a known problem. good luck guys.
I will also state for the record that I am very happy with my RS car runs great. fun to drive.

Well i havent driven it in weather that causes foggy yet. To try the rainx i put on the windows... So if it doesnt, chevy gonna fix it

Also, you can lather on normal shaving crème on the windshield inside. Then wipe off with a micro fiber towel, wipe clean... Helps prevent moisture build up.

snookie, wether or not the dealer will fix your car depends on your warranty, your dealers wanting to help and you telling them this is a known issue and needs to be fixed since it may be in there TSB notices as an issue. good luck, the fix has helped me considerably with mine. sorry this was so late getting back to ya but it was originally posted to help you and others with this issue. I also have not been online much with the forum.

Just a thought...don't hit the recirculate button in the winter time that will cause your windows to fog as well...

No recirc is a good tip, get dry fresh air in.

Could try kitty litter in old socks, place them on the dash overnight with windows closed. Our detailers do that for fogged cars.

I run the A/C with the heater to get rid of the humidity or else it's a sauna.
