luckily my parents started me off with a piece of **** 2000 ford focus, with one thing after another breaking on me. I even had to drop a new engine in that thing to keep it going, and at the time i was broke as **** as a college student away from home as a delivery driver. I say luckily because now i know a little bout cars and respect my baby. But a few weeks ago i decided im done with the stress. Got a new 2014 chevy sonic Lt cuz they didnt have an ltz or rs. But anyway, im here, im new, and eager to show my car build off. i go so many ideas to go from my stock ashen grey metallic car to a... head turner lol.

Thanks guys ! Um it is the 1.8 L 6 speed unfortunately no turbo. But that's OK cuz the car seems to do pretty well without it. I too have ashen grey metallic in sedan. I didnt want a hatchback otherwise me and my sister would be matching and well mines better than hers haha. As for my plans i intend to try to keep it cheap because i got to save up for fall tuition and not void my powertrain warrenty just mostly exterior modifications for now. So im beginning with 15% tint all around next monday, i got a carbon fiber chevy bowtie on its way and four cans of plasti dip to hid all that chrome and plasti dip my wheels til i get enough to either gets some sparcos or the M Technica turbo rims and see if its possible to drill a 5x105 bolt pattern. I really love what Import tuner did for SEMA. but with my own twist

I will tell ya now that 4 cans of dip wont do your wheels well let alone wheels and all your chrome. I use 5 cans on wheels alone because when too thin it looks bad and doesn't peel off easily also the thicker the better it will last. I would say you need 7 cans to do wheels and all chrome with a solid even thick coat, just an FYI.

Yeah i know what you mean, I did three coats on two rims since i only got two jacks. And by the time i got them back on the car there were little nic marks from the lug nut and my finger nails.

Haha thanks Sonic007, man this is crazy i read like up and down this forum and the dudes with sickest sonics all hit me up. Just glad to be apart of SOF. so today i managed to dip my stock 16" rims black and dip my rear bowtie black and carbon fiber. Looks professionally done, i put my fellow delivery drivers to shame now!

My dealer loves to carry only LTs. I had them deliver me a turbo manual ltz from another dealer. I had to wait a couple days, but I got what I wanted. For future reference, you aren't limited to what they have on the lot.

yeah your right but the thing was i was trying to actually sell my car and not give it the dealer for practically free. they wanted to only give me $500 even tho i had just dropped a new engine in my old car so i sold it my friend for $2000 And needed to get a car that day because i had to deliver the next afternoon. And actually the dealership right down the road from did have the LTZ and RS but theyre the biggest pieces of **** and didnt wanna go through them. Ferman chevrolet treat you like scum!
