FS: 2012 Sonic LS Hatch - low miles, no interior

Hey everyone,
Some of you may have seen this car on the forum, and a few of you even supported KaleidoLINKS, but sadly it's actually for sale at the moment. The car has NO INTERIOR, again, NO INTERIOR! Hence the price. Also, to avoid confusion, the car is for sale in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

2012 Chevy Sonic LS 5-speed manual with 10,590 miles on the Odometer. There is still 1 year and 25,000 miles left on the bumper to bumper warranty and 3 years and 49,000 miles (I think) left on the powertrain warranty. The car is an LS and does not have power anything, or cruise control.

The car was in the process of being converted into a B-Spec race car by KaleidoLINKS in DC and DOES NOT have an interior. It does have the OEM front seats and seat belts. However, it is still very low mileage and mechanically perfect. Almost every mile is highway mileage between DC and SC/GA/FL. It was also featured in the 2012 DC Auto Show in the GM Display. Doesn't make the car any more valuable, just an interesting bit of history to it.

The car is unmodified and has never been raced.

It has had 2 oil changes both with Redline fully synthetic oil, and the brake fluid has been flushed with Ate super blue brake fluid. The switch for the rear hatch was replaced when the car was 2 days old, and the tires were just rotated. Other than that it hasn't had any maintenance as it's a brand new car.

Again, the car DOES NOT have an interior, hence the low price, and the vinyl can obviously be removed. However, the car is for sale and will be sold as is. If you just need reliable transportation, a gas efficient hauler with a warranty, or if you're looking for an inexpensive car to turn into a B-Spec car, this is the car for you. It's mechanically sound and has even more cargo room without the interior. It is a brand new car, it's just been broken in for you already.

Sub, come on man. If you want a strictly track car, there are SO many choices for 9 grand. You can pick up a nicely set up NA or NB Miata for less than that or a nice stock example for even less coin.

Agreed, hell if you want a track car you can even find higher mile Evolution VIIIs in great shape at that price point.

Thanks, yeah, actually it sold even fast I just wanted to say it was sold on here. It was actually gone last Friday night. It was one of those things where I knew someone wanted it. Granted it had no interior, but it was a brand new car. I think it took about a week from posting my first ad for it to sell.

Sadly the non-profit went bankrupt... we just never got enough funding to stay open. In fact, I was actually working for free for about 3 years. And we were concentrating on the Camaro for most of that time. We were really excited about running the Sonic in B Spec until the SCCA and World Challenge pissed me off by changing all the rules.

The originally proposed rules were so nice and so fair... lol, and then they just started going insane. And it stopped being cost effective for us. We were going to build it with the kids just for fun for whatever NASA class it would fall into and then the non-profit closed. Which I'm still pretty bitter about, lol, but... so it goes. And you never know, I have had a lot of people express interest in me opening my own non-profit and essentially doing the same things. Which I'd be very amenable to, but I wouldn't do it for free this time, and the real problem is finding financial backers.

I see, shame that had to happen. It's good to get kids involved in something like this. Keeps them out of trouble
