Well, I've been working on this project for quite a while, but I've recently decided its time to get rid of my Sonic. Just need something with a little more room and a little more vroom.
Anyway, I'm selling my Nexus 7 project as it is. It will include everything you need to connect a Nexus 7 2012 to your stock electrical, and give you left and right RCA outputs to run to an EQ of your choice.
What's included:
Fiberglassed/modified dash piece - This is the part I never finished. Honestly it just needs some TLC and slight modifications to look factory.
Powered OTG cable - allows you to charge the Nexus and have USB devices plugged into it
5pin microUSB up adapter - basically a 90 degree adapter, since a regular cable stuck out too far
USB hub - for plugging in your magical devices
12v to dual USB - gives you 2 1.5A USB ports. I ran the Nexus on one, and wired my glove box USB port to it for an extra phone charging port
relay and fuse - obvious stuff here
USB DAC - forgot the exact model, but basically it gives you RCA outputs instead of the 3.5mm for cleaner audio
RCA level controller - an inline controller I've mounted to be used as a volume knob
So basically what you would supply is the Nexus itself, and then its like a regular radio afterwards. I have no tried to fit a 2013 Nexus or any other tablet, but I'm sure you can figure it out with some time and measurements.
I don't have pics at the moment, but here is the most recent video of the project.

I did more fiberglass and a coat of primer since then, so its a few small steps closer to completion. But like I said, please keep in mind that this is a work in progress and is not a finished product ready to be installed.
I haven't got a price in mind, but I have put quite a bit of hard work into this. Really sad to see the project end before completion, and I will definitely stay tuned into whoever buys the project.
