so this morning, I let my car warm up for about 15 minutes since it was so cold outside (7-8*F), and when I got in it to go, the ultragauge showed a p0171. so i figured maybe the sudden cold weather was causing one of my sensors to be wacky or that the valve cover was the issue.
so when i got to work i popped the hood and checked to see if the valve cover was leaking at the typical spot, but that was ok. so i pulled it in the garage and did a boost leak test later on in the day. i found one of the hose clamps on the new charge piping was loose and leaking air.
i tightened every one i could get to, minus the ones right on the intercooler itself(i didn't want to pull the bumper). that got rid of the code, but the LTFT was still high, bouncing between 10 at idle up to 22 at one point. when it was showing the pending code, the LTFT was up to 33-34 once!
recently it has been about 20-30*F here and the LTFT has been staying around 10-14 like usual.
should i be worried about the LTFT's being that high? could they just be caused by the cold weather here?
