Heat shield fell off .

Today as I was leaving for work the heat shield on the cat for the down pipe fell off . 4 bolt holes rotted away and the thing just fell off lol @ 150,000 km . What kind of damage am I going to cause if I run without it? And how long do I have before I burn a hole in the intercooler coupler that’s beside it to the left?

Yup, leave it off. Actually helps heat escape. Took mine off to change the turbo oil feed tube and left it off.
