Hello everyone. Back in October I picked up my first ever new car. It's a 2017 Sonic LT Auto with the 1.4T and the Krypton Green. I have dubbed it the Snot Rocket (as my username suggests). I just hit 3000 miles last night and I'm still loving this car! My dad says I'm not allowed to modify it until it's paid off (I make payments but it's in his name). I think it's due to the fact he's worried about warranty being voided. What mods could I do, if any, that wouldn't void warranty but make the car even quicker and more fun to drive?

Hello fellow Arkansan (although I'm currently out of Kansas) simple things would be stuff you could do and reverse if it needs to be taken in. So like an intake, an exhaust (dont cut the stock one up and don't weld the new one on, use the clamps), short shifter, better pedal covers, bypass the bypass (easy to do if you have small hands) things like that. Always keep the stock, be extra careful so they don't break, and if it needs maintenance or it's just time for a scheduled maintenance run the just swap in the stock parts.
