Hello, new to the forum here. Also new to turbo cars with this 2012 6mt sedan. It's been a blast already, mostly nerding out on my fantasy mod list and enjoying reading some hugely informative threads.
Gonna be picking plenty of brains, as whoever had the car before me clearly was trying to mod this car as well. I am trying to pick apart what all has been done but being so new to all this technology and turbo stuff it has been a little intimidating! The last time I bothered working on cars there weren't any computers in there...
So I have started with the no-brainer stuff... Got some attractive rims with a bit more width, and put flow-through resonator and muffler on with 2.5" tubing, and have high flow cats to put in. I know a tune can make all that unnecessary but hey, I like clean breathable air too!
I got a drop in filter for the box, but basically just wanna see the math on how much air is required before trying a CAI.
Saving up for a fun tune once the cats are in and I grill a few people about injectors and AFR.
Writing a book about this already. Probably should get back to reading. This eBay BOV was on the car when I got it as well, and it makes me a bit nervous, as well as the mediocre rubber looking piping the jammed in here. Maybe once I get the pictures all figured out I can get aome up so some friendly members can help me pick this thing apart.
