I'm just wondering. I've been on countless forums in the past and have never seen something like this. I initially signed up here months ago looking for help, only to find out I couldn't get any here without sitting around posting. Most people sign up with forums in the first place because they are seeking an answer to a question, and to not let them do so is very off-putting. It also encourages people to post random replies until they hit that post count.
Personally, I have a lot to ask, but really not much I can currently add. Just curious about why this policy is in place, as I know it can push away curious new members, as it did to myself as well.
