Hks foam air filter???

Share your thoughts on Hks guys.. Im bout to buy one and test it out. Alot of my friends with jdm cars like them and gives them great air flow.

I have Hurd that foam filters are where it's at.

Hks filter causes CEL lol more airflow than k&n with ddm intake lol

Really? I know the k&n is 16%. A cel is at like 20 or 25 percent.

No tune lol been waiting on a sale cuz i missed the other one. But when checked the code it said intake air temp lol. So either she is running very rich or very lean. Throttle response is awesome tho. Low end torque is alot better, especaily in 2nd & 3rd gear

The k&n was lean. Bad juju. Do not run it hard.

You will need to tune. If not bad things will happen

bro I been running one of those filters for a while, but now I got it behind my lower grill with piping feeding my k&n where the factory piping was.. I also painted my coil cover a while ago red too lol just no performance sticker, and I wanted to do the timing cover but didn't have the balls to remove it.. didn't know what might happen, and I cant get answeres from those who have:sadbanana:

Im going to switch it out to my k&n (no cel) and once i get the tune put the hks back in

I would log with the filter you plan on running. Going from Sab to my intake with kn was a minor tune update witch is 70 bucks

I am but until i get the tune im going to run the k&n becuz that one doesnt cause a cel and once i get the tune i will switch out and log the hks for my tune
