I have a 1.4L turbo 6-speed manual transmission and I did not modify the exhaust system. I first failed emissions testing and found out that my cat was bad with a P0420 code. I replaced the front cat and the code didn't return, my power returned and my MPG returned to normal. I ran a readiness test and the EVAP test has not completed. I've read that to complete this cycle, I will need to drive to 55mph in a high gear and then let the car coast until I reach 20mph without releasing the clutch. If I do this, I think the car will stall out before reaching 20mph. Is this the right way to complete this test with a manual transmission?
