How Do You Adjust The Headlights?

I put in some new Low beam Bulbs. But i feel they will be needing adjusting as they seem to be shooting more into the sky than down onto the road/pavement. The light output as it sits royally suck and im hoping its just an issue of needing adjusting. but I dont know how to do so in this car. The stock bulbs were alot brighter if it dont correct it with adjustment. Until i turned on the Stock Fog Lights i couldnt see nothing while driving. can almost guarentee i was blinding anyone going by me. luckily i only went around the block with it like this.

There are little screw on top of the headlights. They are white i believe. Just need an allen key and it adjusts up and down.

Thanks Sonic007... Adjusted the lights and they both were indeed shooting into the sky. had to really lower them to make the brightest point drop. I have a problem tho. The left headlight bulb is a scattered light, not even and powerful like the right bulb is. I currently have the left side cranked all the way down and it still is up in the air. its more of a round light rather than a nice smooth line of light like the right one is... kinda like this...

Scattered on the left, and even across on the right. I would say the best way to describe the left side is like a disco ball reflection. instead of a nice smooth even line of light its just scattered. i would have to say a bad bulb to which erks me as then i would have to buy a whole new set of lights. I swear its always something with anything i try and do. look at my stock light picture, see how its a nice and smooth line across. yeah, after adjusting only the right side has a nice even line across. the left is not.

It almost sounds like the bulb is not seating properly. Try reinstalling the left on to make sure all the tabs are under the retaining clip. If its in there ****-eyed, it would bounce off the reflector wrong causing all the scatter.

As Beastlick mentioned, be sure the bulb is properly seated in its socket. this is a very common issue.

Thanks for the information but the Bulb is installed properly and they just flat out suck donkey nuts! Terrible lights. Cant even see with these crap junk bulbs. There coming out and the stock bulbs are going back in. If i change anything it will be the Fog Lamps to the Yellow Ion Bulbs. For the main headlights, Low and Highs, I suggest just Sticking with stock bulbs. Everytime i try and upgrade my lighting on a vehicle it turns out to be worse than stock. Im done buying aftermarket lights....

One more thing you could try is swapping the left and right bulb to see if the problem moves with the bulb or not.

I just bought full sets of bright whites from China. They suck also! Glad they were cheap. Only aftermarket whites I have bought were Sylvania's Unfortunately they are $50 pr. They do not make them in fogs. I like to have the color the same on all lamps. Guess I also am back to stocks.. Anyone interested in 3 sets of bright whites? CHEAP.

The stock Bulbs for the Highs and Lows are actually quality bulbs from the getgo. Found that out when i switched them for the so called better bulbs. lesson learned!! As for the Fog Lights, For them to effectively work as Fog Lights, they need to be of a Yellow hue more so than the normal white of a headlight bulb. Otherwise they are just simply an Extra Set of Driving Lights. Yeah, its nice to have them. but id like to have a nice set of real fog lights. hence why im still putting in the Yellow bulbs i bought only. Keeping the Highs and Lows the Stock Bulbs.

Kind of. You can angle where the most light is directed. But it will still scatter everywhere.

Yea i mean i was able to direct my hids pretty well. It still scattered like hell but there is a main point that can be aimed.

I have yellow hella's in my high beams! And wow they BRIGHT! I picked them up at pepboys thinking they are just yellow bulbs. Ok cool. No they are wow bright and yellow! Lol
