How to remove A-pillar trim to replace tweeters?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I did a search and nothing came up...

I'm seeking information on how to remove the A-pillar trim in order to replace the tweeters. Can anyone help?

It is just held on by clips. Pull down and they'll pop off. There will be a couple things connecting the trim to the car body that you'll need to unplug so don't yank it off with reckless abandon.

make sure ... is there an ABS oval plastic piece on the A-pillar anywhere, as behind it will be a screw (like on the C pillar)???

Nope, when I popped off my A-pillar trim to swap out the dome light it was nothing but clips.

Yep, I was looking through my pics to see if I had one showing the A-pillar removed but didn't see one. If I recall the end at the windshield has a couple tabs that slot into the dash so you'd want to start pulling by the headliner and continue detaching down towards the windshield, when you have enough clearance unplug the tweeter connector and trim retainers then lift out of the dash. It's super easy.

1 clip at the top, has a retainer to hold the plastic from flying in your face when the bag goes off, you'll need to squeeze the black clip to release it from the plastic cover. When I did my tweeter replacements, once you pull the cover down, you'll see it..

I am also replacing the stock tweeters. Should I disconnect the battery before messing with the a pillar trim?

wouldn't hurt, better safe than sorry.
