Installed New Z-Spec Rims!

I ordered myself a set of the Chevy sonic Z-Spec rims from the dealer a week ago today, they shipped very fast and i was able to swap them over this morning! Loving the styling of the rim, fell in love with the car all over again. Let me know what you think from the pictures!

(I re-used the original center caps and lug nuts for the Z-Spec rims)

Beautiful wheels Niagra! I would say they are well worth it. I have yet to find a wheel that I like, but I could see yours on my sonic.

Where did you happen to order them? Did the site happen to list the weight of the wheels? I had bought aftermarket wheels in the past for another car and those were noticeably heavier than the factory wheels. I'm not a fan of adding rotational mass to my car.

A slightly lower ride height would look superb with those wheels.

When I do eventually get aftermarket wheels for my sonic, I'm looking for an offset that pushes them out a bit more so the wheels are flush with the fenders & wheel-well. Currently, the wheels are slightly indented in comparison with the wheel-well. I've heard wheels spacers are not the way to do it.

rs rims are 1/2 " wider than the z-spec, but the tire sizes would be the same

I agree, spacers aren't ideal although I currently run them with no issues.

Offset depends on the wheel width you go with... just find someone else with wheel fitment you like and copy their size haha. The main problem is that most wheels made for our bolt pattern have non-aggressive fitment, so you either have to run adapter spacers or have them re-drilled.

Lists these wheels as 17x6.5" which is the same size as RS wheels.
