I've been hunting for the answer to this problem, but all I can find are references to dead battery/key won't turn all the off due to gear shift button being stuck.
I can turn off the ignition, and the key will come out like two clicks of the tumblers it rides on, but cannot be removed. Car also starts and runs fine. I had assumed it was captured due to me trying to program a new key, but even after programming it and everything working, it still can't be removed. No security lights are on, buttons on the key fob work, it just can't be pulled out.
Anyone heard of this before?
