Le Bra front bumper cover?

So im about to take a long road trip and don't wanna get amy chips in the hood or bumper. The le bra cover is like $110 and special order at o'rileys I only have a few days any compatible cheaper covers? Or anything I can put on myself? Thank youuuuu

Is it your car or your Ex's?! When I PCS'd (Permanent Change of Station Danni!lol) from Brunswick, ME to FL I used blue painters tape on the front of the car. Looked silly but I didn't all the nicks in the tape didn't go through to the paint. The green (automotive) tape might release easier than the blue tape.

Plastidip is the way to go. I usually drive from Toronto Canada to NY for a car show called import alliance and thats what we usually do all the time for long trips.

If your in a pinch just use the blue painters tape and tape over the whole front end. Painters tape is made to remove with no residue or damage. That's what I used to drive my Corvette home from the dealer when it was brand new. I had over two hours of highway to drive before getting it home and I taped the front up just to make sure there were no chips when I got it home the first time. You might get some funny looks

I already have a small chip on the hood and a rough spot on the window from a rock atleast it didn't star the window I guess. I don't now about any bra's I've never had one but I need to do something for my car I'm interested in all the suggestions you are getting. But what about Long term.

Long term you can but the OEM bra, plastidip with like 8 coats or have a clear bra applied.

for long term i'd just buy the cover. i didn't have time to order it before my trip. i would def do the plasti dip since my sonic is black and it'd probably look cool with a flat black hood n bumper but im not putting anything on it. i guess ill let yall know when i get back if i got any damage. i'll probably cry.


and for that vette lol you can put whatever you want on it and still be ok. it's a vette.

Hi All, I'm a new-be here, We just got are 2012 LTHB It was in a hail storm two weeks ago and dealer sold to us dents and all, the HOOD looks like the moon, SSssOOoo So i'm thinking that we could cover that area with some type of Hood BRA, LaBra or Vinyl type what idears do you have. To repair the hail damage would run over $3200.00 Not going that way. I want the hood area to look a little bit better. ct

those dents will still show through any vinyl. look into finding a new hood.
