Loaded struts?

My 2012 Sonic has 157,000 miles and I believe in the need of new struts. I've been trying to find loaded struts but have not had any success. Do these not exist?

I looked around and didn't find any. You may just have to break down your current ones and replace the struts.

None that I've seen. It would be advisable to break them down. Since I would replace the rubber gaskets and mounting.

GMPartsdirect has a good diagram of the struts. I would start there. Take the completed pieces to a shop and they should put everything together and compress the springs for maybe 20-40 each.

I have the tools, just it would be much easier and quicker to do it if they were already assembled. Thanks!

That is odd. I see complete struts with springs of the 2011-12 Cruze, but nothing for Sonic.
