Lowering Front Coilovers

Those of you who have CX Racing, BC, or Megan (These 3 are almost all the same). I have my front coilovers almost as low as they go. I have about 1/2in before the bottom of the shock comes out the bottom of the lower adjuster. But my problem is I'm running 18's with 215/40R18's and my tires aren't even flush with the fender yet. I want to tuck a little, but that 1/2in won't get me there.

Has anyone lowered their Coilovers so the bottom of the shock comes out past the bottom of the lower adjuster? I know if you go too far you can damage your axle cv joint. If you have gone lower, how much is the lower shock sticking out?

The rear I have flush with the Rear Spring sleeve still in place, but with no Locking rings in. I plan to remove the sleeve all together and run just the spring alone.

Any insight would be great!

I have no perches at all in the back. Just a spring and I do not rub whatsoever. In front I have bottom of shock sticking out a little under the lower adjuster. Maybe 1/4" give or take.

No signs of axle rubbing/damage? With sticking out..

It won't hurt if u stay within 1/4" imo. Mines have been like that since December bro!

Ok, I will go 1/4" and check it after a few weeks. That will drop me another 3/4", should give me close to what I'm looking for.

Just had my coilovers installed and I'm hearing a the coils binding and slipping when I turn at low speeds. Does anyone know why this is? Did the shop install them wrong or is this normal?
