LTZ seats

Hi everyone!

I'm currently waiting for GM to tell me if its possible to exchange my seats from my LTZ with the RS one. I have already used seats and my car is not even 2 years old (normal use)... the quality of my seats is awfull. I wonder if other than me have trouble and already have anormal used seats like me. (GM agreed to exchange the seats) I wonder if the RS one are better quality?

I've had my LTZ for 1yr 2months and no issues with my seats. In fact for my back these have been the most comfortable seats of any car I've owned. It may be a personal opinion based on my own body shape but it hits the sweet spot on my lower back allowing me to drive for hours on end without pain.

the confort of the seats arent the problem, that quality is. Mine are in artificial leather and the holes are streching. My seats are all curly and my butt still visible when i'm not on the seat... I'm waiting 143lbs... it shouldn't my weight the problem. The seats are just getting used faster than normal. I found them very confortable to!

Hmm again no issues. I have over 22K on the OD and my seats look pretty much like day 1. However I am curious about the RS real leather seats just for the fact FL sun and pleather make for a sweaty ride. I only use the seat heater as a joke on passengers haha

I see, I'm using the seat heater alot... it might do smth. real leather seems more durable tho...

Could be worse. The side bolster on my seat is starting to wear from getting in and out. Cloth seats should not do this in the time/mileage I have. Seems like cheap material was used.

Im looking into a nice set of Recaros, or Sparco seats. Friend has a set in his WRX that are nice, and I found a similar pair with adjustable side bolsters.

The RS seats are real leather, and they are better quality than the cloth or leatherette.

They also have RS seen into the top/stamped into the bottom of the seats. Which won't match your trim level

My wife (passenger) uses the heated seat often but I do not. When she does and gets up, the seat looks a little funny like you can still see the imprint of her tiny 108 pound butt. However, after a day it returns to normal. I suspect this is just a function of cheap upholstery.

Usually vinyl and heat don't get along. I would rather have real leather, holds up better. But don't want the RS stamp.

I also believe that heat and leatherette doesn't go well together... I dont want the RS stamp to but If its the only cheap way i can get leather seats and don't have to worry about the tear leatherette in a "near" futur i would go with the RS stamp... until i can get anough money to buy better seats like Vento linked.
