LTZ to RS bumper compatibility

Hi everyone!

First, congrats to all new Sonic owner!
I wonder if some1 sucessfully trade the LTZ rear bumper to RS rear bumper? GM said to me they were 2 differents parts numbers so it might not be possible to switch them.

I don't recall who, but someone on here has swapped to the RS rear bumper. All I remember was that it was red :blankface:

Kool, at least i can hope its possible, i wonder if we need to change all the bumper, or only the lower/"plastic" part can be done.

after many search i found on the forum! it's Pacman that did swap his rear bumper! and seems easy..haha

wasn't hard to do the swap at all, the only thing that gave me trouble was the exhaust of the rs is about 3 inches farther to the left of the car so you have to do some exhaust work. and the rs bumper exhaust cutout is huge, even makes my ddm works 4 inch tip look small.

I'm still on the stock exhaust so i think it should be far enough. What do you think? I wonder where i can find a 2-holes stainless exhaust tip as large as the cutout is. To look like this :

i think u could find something to work, the stock exhaust i think is far enough forward to fit the rs bumper over it. then just weld a new tip on and it should look good

Hey!,

I confirm that we can install thro GM to the RS bumper whitout any warranty issu. I wonder where did you get paint yours Pacman?
In another matter, I just ordered pedders coilovers Can't wait to get them! I will update my build when all those part comes in.
