Modify the BNR header

would it be possible for someone to modify the BNR header kit to fit a garret25/ 28 turbo?
Or maybe a K03/K04

Thoughts????

Would probably be far cheaper to just have a turbo header made from scratch. The location of the collector on the BNR header would not work well, and to reroute the piping to accomidate a proper position would mean an almost completely new header by the time you were done.

How much would a custom turbo header run??

My guess based on what I have come across before, about $700-900 for a quality custom piece. Lots of labor involved in making a custom turbo header. A log style is usually a fair bit cheaper, but is less efficient.

Yes a log style isnt as effective, but our motors arent capable of 500hp yet so a customs race style manifold is useless. I had a log style manifold on my old turbo cavalier and made almost 325hp to the ground on a bone stock 2.2 ecotec. so if your just wanting to build a decent street setup a log style manifold will be just fine. and maybe only cost around 300-500 bux.

If the stock mani will allow it, the best cheapest option is to hack it off before the cat and have a flange welded to it.

A properly designed header style will be better all around than a log style.

Kinda shocked that the L61 held at that power level. Those rods are only good for up to about 280-290 on a regular basis.

im just trying to make a great street/ daily setup that can beat some of these ricers with civics and integras. i just want to produce between 250 and 285whp. if possible

5 speed trans will not hold up to that reliability. Have to do a m32 swap. Instead of a header I will be looking for a stock cat to play with soon
