Say your on the freeway and you clk the cruise on @ 70mph, on the lt hand wand push in and hold the end button till you hear a beep sound, the MPG on the speedo will now register your MPG info. Stay on cruise for some miles to get a good reading. You have to do this every time you get on a fast road...Any questions? :banana:

you can reset your MPG anytime, the travel time and the average speed.

Reset your MPG on a smooth, level 40-50mph road.. hold it steady and watch the MPG rise to unreal numbers...

Too bad it will only be a reflection of a very short time period and not the actual average for that tank of fuel.

In a incoherent manner I think he was wanting to start a thread to see who can get the highest mpg average in a rest at cruising speed. I could be completely wrong though.....

Better yet, reset your MPG at the top of a long steep hill on the highway... Your numbers will also be unreal. I tried it and saw 99 MPG for a few seconds. I think there is already an MPG thread.
