I was AT the speedway this weekend :blankface:
I enjoy nascar but in person. Not on tv. Spent 7 years working infield track security at KS speedway until my mom moved and I didn't have a place to stay when working. Having unquestioned all access really spoils you.

We haven't had rain in 82 days!! Besides, rain only delays the race.

I grew up In Ormond Beach(Little Daytona LOL) and one of my best friends growing up mom worked at the Speedway and we were always there for free at every race. I was at the race when Dale Sr. won when he died and when Jr. won it first time after that.
My favorite times at the Speedway though was always camping the infield for the Rolex 24hrs and hearing those cars surround you with vibrations and open exhausts for a full day straight.
But for the most part growing up in that area you despise the races because it throws off your whole week with all the traffic and having to remember to take back roads and avoid certain spots. I worked at the mall across the street when I was in high school and can remember having to pay $20 to park 3 miles from the mall just so I could go to work. So after that I got a truck and would just drive up in the woods behind the mall and park there lol.

Real racecars drive in the rain!
Go fast and turn left get boring for me. I do enjoy when they are thrown onto the road courses like Road America. I have faster corner speeds in my Coablt.

I think they are reserved. bought tickets from Las Vegas Motor Speedway website.
