New lip wooooo

So today i got my new $30 Honda lip that i was told can be fit to the sonic. Install went pretty well. Got it mounted up and molded with a little heat. Prob took a good 30 min. Heres some pics.







And word of advise. Watch where you grab a hot heat gun.....

Idk man id love to have one at some point. I got baby number 2 comin here soon so we've been pretty focused on that. Lol

Hopefully that works. Lol. Theres 2 different lips. One with 2 vents and one without.

Fitment looks surprisingly good. Did you have to trim the sides near the wheel well? Looks like it has the body tape on there already but did you also use screws to the bumper to attach?

I take it the piece doesn't fit perfectly without heating it?

I didnt do screws yet. I may throw 1 on each side in the fender well and 2 underneith the car in the center.

It fit suprisingly well. The sides tucked right into the wheel well. No cutting or trimming. I managed to mount the center, then pressure fit the sides in. I used a heat gun then to make sure it sat right. The sides curve in a bit more drastic than the sonics.

Then pulled the sides out a smidge, put some tape along the edge while it was hot. And that was that.

When it comes in its pretty flimsy. Id be worried about it cracking when you installing it. Im just gonna dip mine black for more protection.

Have it painted once it's on the car if you plan to paint it. And when you mount it make sure you do it in a way that it will stay with the bumper if you ever have to remove the bumper is use double sided stick tape and a screw on each side in the wheel well.

Hmmmm, I got a spare 96-98 CTR lip that I may test fit and will need to cut the center but will need to buy a replica to do the cutting on and not on the OEM.

I really like how it looks on your car, mine will need to be painted since my car is white.
