Hello everyone my name is Chris I own a 2012 Sonic LT turbo and it has a blown head gasket from overheating when trying to pull out the tensioner pulley bolt to put the pin in to lock to unlock the tensioner tension on the timing chain the bolt stripped the torque bolt stripped out it towards three of the teeth off of it and nothing I can't get it out I went ahead and pulled the head off of the motor and when I did the tensioner spring and the cup that it sits in went flying across the under the hood in the engine compartment I found the spring in the little metal coupler or whatever that it's it's in is that is that all that there is to that spring is just a spring and the cup it sits in and can I put it back in while putting the head on head back on the car or do I have to do it some other way or is there another piece to it and it broke off I need to know cuz I'm ready to put the car back together and I don't know first time doing a front-wheel drive and this s***** motor I can rebuild small block V8 Chevys all day long and 6 cylinders but not to scoopy thing this is big been the biggest pain in my ass that I've ever had to deal with please let me know
