I just confirmed I have a short on my upstream O2 signal wire. I believe its shorting out on my heater wire since I'm getting 2 Volts on my signal. Could I just run a new signal wire out side of the wiring harness so I don't have to tear my whole wiring harness apart to find the bad spot and leave the old wire inside the harness? And of course not hook the old wire up lol. Will it still work even with the old wire still shorted but not using?
