Well I just suffered the codes in the title like some other people on here.

It is the the valve cover relief thingy

Going by chevy in Morning

Has anyone come up with a better solution then just replace the valve cover every time this happens.

It sure would be nice if they came up with a revised valve cover design that had that as a replaceable part. I'm sure mine will go at some point just like everyone else's likely will.

If anything, they really should have made the valve cover with a inlet and outlet section externally that can be replaced at any time. Then they could have made a plenum cover to put over the valve and coil covers to make it look nice, but the manufacturer has to cut costs somehow.

Well they replaced the valve cover and the intake manifold.
TSB # PIP5197A

It says intake manifold non return valve missing.
