Beware of Grinch's out there and bah humbugs that want to steal your Christmas.... I recently got an email from a member that I will not name because everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
They referred me to another members personal email address stating that the items that I was looking for they have them, so is trusting as I am I hit up the person on the other end sure enough they have the items that I've been looking for for my Sonic we agree on a price and I send them the money PayPal??? My mistake I never seen a picture of the items and there was no reason for me to believe the person on the other end was a Grinch, so I was able to stop payment on them through PayPal but because I sent it as a gift to that person PayPal sees no reason to think that it's a fraudulent charge so more than likely it's going to go through anyway for $280.
I start to feel real and easy when I woke up in the morning waiting for that tracking number that never came so I looked up the member's name that referred me to the seller and the person had joined the forums 5 minutes before he sent me the email???? Sketchy indeed. Now the seller did have a screen name on here they're both new members in the individual had only been on here for 5 days and the state that they're from was totally different than the one that they told me they were from in the email.
If I'm out $280 it was a very cheap price to pay for security I'll never do another deal like this again unless I verify the members see that they're official members of The forum have verification of the parts see them with pictures beware out there guys there's thieves there's wolves amongst sheep during this Christmas season and they just want to fleece your flock....
