Go on summit racing and buy the universal power window kit. Unless you feel like gutting your doors, installing motors, regulators, relays and all that fun stuff.
And before you give me the lame excuse "I couldn't afford it at the time, but now I can", then that means you should have saved and waited.
I just took one of my doors apart, if you have manual windows you are not wired for power windows.
The positive side about having power windows is that it is convienant. Though, if you are planning on racing your Sonic at the track, manual windows will weigh (lbs) lighter than power windows(I have power windows though, because I don't race my Sonic on a race track or anywhere)
This fallacy was posted before, on several different sites. I am not 100% about the Sonic, but on other cars I have worked with the power motor only weighs ~2 lbs. depending on the regulator, power could actually be lighter. I've never heard of any race team switching from power windows to manual to save weight, and I'm fairly certain, read positive, that the high budget race teams use Lexan for their windows, and that's if they have them at all.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have to disagree with you. My old car died after I was rear ended so I kinda had to get something real quick. This car was in my price range, and it doesn't have power windows. Being a student the payments I have were all I could afford, but summer is here now and I have extra money. To upgrade to power windows would have cost me a lot.
For those that care, I found a local company that makes custom power window kits. $150 for two doors, flush mount switches and wiring. I will be ordering soon and installing after. Before you comment about the rear doors...they dont matter to me since no one is ever back there anyways.
