Rear Ended - Where to get new rear bumper?

I'm not on the forum much but I'm in need of some help please!

Last night I got rear ended while driving home. I was going about 10-12mph cause I couldn't get traction in the 3-4" of snow on the road. I saw someone coming up behind me and I'm guessing they attempted to pass and BAM, smashed the left corner. Just glad I'm not hurt and it's only the bumper that got smashed. Taillight is fine. Although it shoved my exhaust down probably 5 inches.

My second reaction (after wtf?!) was to check out the plate as it passed me. Tried to grab the # but it was covered in snow. Aaaannd they kept driving.... yep hit and run.

Anyway, where can you get sonic bumpers? I've been looking but I can't find. I'm thinking just get one myself and I know people who can do painting.

My sonic is a 2012 LTZ. But I was thinking heck.. maybe get a RS bumper? thoughts? lol

My money says that once you take off the bumper cover, you will find more damage than you think, since it was enough to bend your exhaust down.

Bumper cover is made of plastic that will spring back, however what's underneath the skin has been designed to deflect and absorb impact. That's where most of the damage will be.

ahtoxa, yeah I was thinking that. Regardless, I can still get a new bumper cover myself and get it painted. I'm going to wait till spring to put the new cover on anyway and just kinda straighten out this one. Winter has only begun and I'd hate to get a new one and something happen again!

Do check for more damages done at the exhaust too. Maybe that may have come off and may require welding. Or there could be other damages too.
