Any weight totals on these. Curious what advantage it might be besides appearance.

I have all the weight differences except for the fenders. I'll know the weight of the stock fenders as soon as my powdercoated I/c diverter arrives and I have the bumper off to install it.

I finally swapped the fenders. Here are all the seibon weight changes:

Hood: Stock 26.2/CF 14.2lbs 12lbs lighter
Hatch: Stock 26.5/CF 13.4lbs 13lbs lighter
Fenders: Stock 10.0/CF 7.5lbs 2.5lbs lighter


The hood is the easiest swap by far. The hatch and fenders are both much more difficult.

I'm waiting for my brother to drop off the I/c Diverter that I had shipped to his job, so I can slap it on while the bumper is off. Then I gotta put the bumper back on ( lots of hidden bolts BTW) and snap some glamour shots.

I was going to have a body shop paint most of the fenders white leaving just a strip of CF exposed along the hood line and 2 rally stripes before I installed them, but I'm glad I didn't because I would have scratched the hell out of the paint while putting them on (and off and on and off and back on because of slight adjustments that had to be modified on the mounting points).

The downside is I will have to leave my car at the body shop for a couple of days for paint, which won't be an option til my next lay-off.

No scratch, just some wired reflection.

That is weird. Looks like a perfect scratch with white paint under it. ;P
