Short shifter?

Hmmm good question. I've seen a very similar looking unit posted that I believe was being sold over seas for the M32 trans.
It would be logical that it would work for the sonic since its for the same trans and they should use the same shifter assm (because costs) with maybe the cables being different but they shouldn't affect anything travel wise.
BUT that's just an assumption and we all know how assumptions turn out.
If you've got 225 to burn give-er-a-go and report back
Maybe Theenico will know or maybe RS turbo or preloader.

It was the shipping costs that brought people up short.

I have tested one on a Cruze with M32 and it fits and works great. I have NOT tested it on a Sonic. It should work, but I haven't listed it as working on the Sonic yet. I'm sending one to Stratton to test and make sure it works before I start openly advertising them for the Sonic. So stay tuned.

It could sit way up. Like a suicide shifter on a motorcycle, or some Ape hanger handlebars...
Maybe a sword that slid out.. But only if you have a sunroof... Totally stoopid...

Get ahold of Swordsmith. He can probably hook you up with a sword (or even great sword for the extra long throw) that can be welded onto the stock shift lever.
Of course the standard edition will have a blank blade but he just might market a finely honed finished blade for those that want a real "suicide shifter".
That sounds like a sharp looking car!
