Single mass flywheel conversion, reverse lockout switch

Hello...yes hello how are you? Good thanks.
So I was looking at the Spec lightweight clutch and flywheel for the 2015 1.4 RS. Shipping to Aus was a killer though and a ' reasonable' amount of not-favorable reviews about Spec. I found this conversion to a single mass flywheel here in Australia


Still a stock clutch not built for super-powers, but around 1.6kg lighter than the OEM dual mass flywheel.
Fitted it on the weekend, and about 150km into bedding it in but starting to give it some throttle, and the difference in acceleration is VERY noticeable, much more responsive and accelerator-ey. No difference in idle or smoothness of operation than the dual-mass sponge.

Having trouble uploading more pics, just keeps telling me 400kb file is too large..
Anyway, the only issue I had was, the reverse lockout switch got knocked/1 clip broken during the removal/install process. So a bit of head-scratching during first startup and being unable to reverse out of the garage.

I searched and searched but literally the ONLY answer I found was in this thread here https://www.sonicownersforum.com/fo...hifter-installed-no-5th-6th-or-reverse.21969/
with the pic above, and sure enough - pull that switch back out, and everything back to normal and running 100%.
So, posting #Sonic RS # reverse lockout # lockout switch to hopefully make it easier for everyone to find if they have this same issue in the future.
