sonic emblem font?

OK, I'm not a font nerd (and yes that's a real thing), I just went thru every font on Corel Draw looking for something reasonably close to the one Chevy uses for the Sonic emblem and didn't get anywhere. Tried looking around on the web and that was hopeless too; either I don't know how to ask the question right, or nobody in the entire history of the interwebs has ever posted something claiming there's a font that looks like that one!

I know I'll have to do the split S by hand of course but I'd like to get the rest of the lettering from a consistent set by someone with more font-related artistic ability than I have. Any ideas?

Closest I found was LilyUPC in bold italic. Not very close really, but I guess I could tinker with it to get closer...

It was most likely done in house, probably not an actual font file. Are you looking for the rest of the alphabet or just "sonic"?

I'm not looking for the actual font just something reasonably close, and yes, the whole alphabet, not just the letters CILRSTNOZ... in fact it's the other letters I'm most interested in

rgr that. I was going to suggest png/illustrator if that was all you were looking for. I will poke around online and see if i can find anything that may help
