I have built a very sturdy mount for the RNI mount and if anyone wants one PM me !!! This is a K&N filter and a custom mount painted with a textured semi gloss black

This is a very sturdy mount, the filter doesn't touch anything !! No ac lines nothing

Looks clean, but need to get rid of the accordion charge pipe. You will get a better increase in sound by doing this.

Not that I am unhappy with my Injen intake, but I would have much rather built something like this instead. Maybe I will and sell my Injen.

I'm looking into building one as we speak, a local machine shop is gonna take the maf mount and machine it out of aluminum as soon as I find time

What do you want for the mount and where did your buy K&N? Part number?

Nice work! That will most likely fail near the bend due to vibration. I'd add rubber washers to the mounting point.

You really can't rubber mount it because it is mounted to the motor mount. Maybe rubber mounting the hoop or rubber mount the post with two pieces held together might work.

SonicMan, nice job!! If I didn't have the DDM intake ordered (they are waiting for the heat shields to come in) I would probably be getting in touch with you about one.

I've worked with steel my whole life and I'd bet against that claim
