On the front, is that a custom top mount? Looks like a top hat to shock type conversion.

I love the idea of eliminating the rear spring in favor of a coil over in place of the rear shock.

Was this set up for another vehicle, just modified for your Sonic or is it Sonic specific?

Top mounts are custom for both the front and rear.

And yeah, these were built specifically for my car. Brand new when they were installed. Made for dirt/rally purposes.

Probably a far harsher ride than you might think... if it's for rally purposes.... car must be up a few inches then...

It's definitely a stiff ride. And yeah, the setup probably lifted the car 2-3 inches in the front, and 4 or a little more in the rear.

I also no longer run control arms in the front, so the front tires are constantly grabbing the surface whether it's variations in gravel or grooves in pavement and such..

Control arms?? Do you mean the sway bar links or did you replace the control arms?
