I figured I should start my own build thread to keep track of what I do to my Sonic. So, here goes.

Vinyl carbon fibered the bowties.

Installed DDM Shifter Bushings. Crispy shifts.
Dipped the "Sonic" and "LT" badges.

Trying my hand at dipping my wheels. I don't want to have straight black wheels, so I decided to do something slightly different. I'm trying to decide between two styles.*
Option one is the more difficult one, but it's a cleaner style-wise look.

But I'm leaning more towards option two.

Installed Trifecta Budget Tune. It makes the car even more enjoyable to drive now.

5-1-13
I decided on option two. The taping got easier by the fourth wheel.

Put on custom coil cover.

Installed a Spectre intake with color matched (by chance) filter. WhhhPISShhhhhhh (thanks Zippypcs!)

Installed ZZP catback with highflow secondary cat

I like two. Not sure about the budget tune but I installed the Performance tune yesterday and I have never seen a tune make that big of a difference on a gasoline motor. Nice job on the rims.

On number 2, I was thinking leave the center cap black and peel off the Bowtie.

Put on the exhaust yesterday and the drop springs today (pictures in the first post)

Taking the first strut mount bolt out with a ratchet and breaker bar proved once more I am an idiot. Righty-tighty/lefty-loosey. :/ Of course I snap the bolt 5 minutes after the dealership closes. I guess it's a good thing my wife goes in late on Mondays.
