I have a 2014 Chevy Sonic 1.8 engine I noticed the temperature reaches 226f before the fan comes on but then only drops down to 219f is that normal

I have a 2014 Chevy Sonic 1.8 engine I noticed the temperature reaches 226f before the fan comes on but then only drops down to 219f is that normal

The fan on mine turns on at 226 as well. I believe the thermostat is 221. So it all sounds good.
