Replacing the second cat converter allowing freer flowing exhaust: I imagine it would make a positive performance difference.

The second cat does not have an O2 sensor so should not throw a check engine light.

The second cat does contribute to reducing the exhaust sound, so how friendly are you and your neighbors?

Direct bolt on. I am unaware of a picture, but if you can picture a straight pipe in your head I suppose you would be close.

Imagine DDM's HF Cat secondary pipe with no cat in it. I plan on leaving the factory catted down pipe for now and going with the test pipe instead. One day I will pick up the cat less down pipe and throw a HF cat in the test pipe.

I plan on picking up the SLP exhaust and tune when I get back to the States and that's probably going to be next on my list as well. Might have tow wait until after fogs an cruise control though. Might aim for the ZZP intake for a Christmas present to myself.
