2012 LT Hatch 1.8L, ONLY 41k miles. Now that the weather is warming up, I'm getting a dull clunk, not too loud, especially when I move the steering wheel back and forth in the driveway/parking lots. Its quiet enough that it can't be heard while driving at normal speeds. If I roll down the window in the driveway, it sounds like it is coming from under the car near the driver's front wheel.
Car seems to drive pretty well and I have another 2012 (sedan) with 75k miles that does not do this.
Does not sound like creaky stabilizer links (already replaced those and have another new set in the garage.)
I'm thinking of giving this car to my daughter and don't want it to have a problem when she gets it.
Tie rod end? (These are really cheap at rockauto.) Any similar problems?
Thanks!
