I ordered my Silver Ice LTZ 5-door, 1.4L, stick, yesterday. There were no matches within a 200 mile radius here in Northern Illinois so I didn't settle for anything else. I am a Pontiac guy but most of us know what happened to Pontiac. I will be waiting to take delivery in about 5-weeks. I am looking forward to a manual equipt car again, I can't stand automatics.

I'm a big supporter of hatchback, manual, 1.4... but I am curious why you ponied up th extra for the Z instead of LT? Sunroof is the one thing I mildly regret. But was it the looks, the tires, the heated seats? And how much extra does LTZ actually cost over a similarly equipped LT?

I will give you new details next weekend. It is kind of complicated but lets just say I got my down payment back after finding out I wasn't getting what I thought I was paying for.

Well, I really thought about this and you had a good point. I got a little hung up on the LTZ's extra features and I thought to myself, "Do I really need them?"
When I put it back on paper I realized I didn't need those extra features. The heated leatherette seats would be nice, along with the upgraded wheels/tires, steering wheel, etc., but I didn't need them and it was more than $1,200 onto the car. Heck, I would be satisfied with manual windows.
I changed the order and went with an LT with 1.4L, and MyLink. I will have the dealer add on the fog lights and carpet floor mats. Thanks for helping me realize.
