Uf7 mylink replacement - Aftermarket - known good working parts & accessories

This is an issue with non android auto Mylink uf7 head unit only.

Hoping we can start a thread of known wire harnesses tips and tricks to retain Onstar, Onstar audio, Onstar auto crash assistance, Wi-Fi, DTC, CHIME, +

I personally need assistance in this area.

Has anyone used the SOOGM-19L and what all does it retain... Also please post what you have used and what all it retained as well as ease of install and all accessories used including models.

The only issue with that would be that the factory Onstar would be deleted... Awesome unit tho

Screw Onstar and all that jazz. But the harnesses they sell from Metra?... I think. They work just fine to keep everything.

I personally ripped it all out because I have zero use for it. Yeah the chimes are all gone, but I pay attention to the door open sign and the lack of turn signal noise doesn't bother me either. I guess if you are really needing it then go for it. But a proper Android Auto unit can do everything that Onstar can and better.
