Visited a Chevy dealer in Tampa today, and got my first actual site of a Sonic 5dr. HB. The car was the LTZ with the 1.8L automatic,in the inferno orange. I can definitely say I wasn't disappointed. One thing that I was at first a little hesitant about was how the Leatherette/ vinyl upholstery was going to look, just thinking back to my 1979 Malibu. However I was pleasantly surprised,the quality was good and done with good taste. The one thing that I was slightly disappointed in was that the rear seat didn't fold completely flat. It was only a slight angle, but I can live with that. My wife and I travel with pets in carriers, and with the angle the carriers would be leaning back. I was offered a test drive, but I was pressed for time, Darn!!! Maybe tomorrow. They did have a sedan in the LZ ? There was also another HB LT in white which they would not open up,they said it wasn't in their inventory,then what's it doing on their lot. The window sticker was $ 19465 and I was given a buy it today price, which I don't know the rules here what I am allowed to say. This price was on the LTZ.
